Oct. 9th, 2006 03:19 amok, so i totally forgot to mention that over the marathon weekend i got to see my great and lovely friend ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
samhain_punk!!! before she hopped back across the pond. i hadn't actually gotten to see her since texas, so that was an incredibly wonderful surprise. we hung out in borders and had dinner at pf chang, and she gave me a bunch of her very clever buttons, and a good time was had by all. i can't wait to see her again but i may have to get a passport to do it.
in other news, i've been a mad ball of cleaning and packing and studying this weekend. i have washed EVERYTHING IN THE HOUSE. including possibly a stray cat or two. t minus 3 days exactly untilaliyaskie's plane lands and i pick her up! yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!!!! i can't believe this trip is so close. we're going to come home to sleep overnight on wednesday night, then leave for madison and the first ani show on thursday. friday is the second ani show in chicago with nurispark; saturday we spend in ann arbor; and sunday and monday we spend in niagara falls and buffalo, having driven through london, ontario to get there (CANADIA w00t!)*, with a pamela means show in buffalo on sunday night. tuesday we get up and drive to cleveland and bum around and see family; then wednesday we drive back here in time for me to get to my afternoon classes. then i get her until saturday, when i have to take her back to the airport. but a week and a half with my chicky whee! i'm so incredibly excited that i've already got most of my stuff not only packed, but IN THE CAR. we don't leave until THURSDAY. i'm cracked out. :)
aaaaaaaaaand i've spent most of the evening drinking mike-aritas and playing super mario 3 with a friend, and my buzz is wearing off, so i think it's time for me to put the sheets back on my bed and snooze.
